About
The client’s brief was exciting and offered the freedom and opportunity to experiment with break out ideas. However, the first challenge was to deal with nature’s extreme conditions specific to every coastal city – high humidity, heavy rains and intense heat throughout the year. The objective of the design was to project the building as a captivating model of architectural beauty among the monotonous buildings around the site. This led to the adoption of a colorful facade that highlights, not only the building, but the entire street. The architect ensured vibrancy with the use of Fundermax panels resembling a pixelating image with various shades of red.
